DAY 1

30′ – SESSION 1: INTRODUCTION

8′The trainer opens the session by introducing the pair of trainers, training objectives and agenda and organizers (ppt-1). Emphasize that the training is participatory, and involvement of all participants is expected. Make them aware responsibility for learning is in their hands, while you as trainers are there to offer new knowledge and skills, and to facilitate the process of learning.
While the leading trainer is presenting the host organization, the assistant trainer is distributing the handout (HO-1) to participants.
15′Move forward with introduction of participants through the task MY DREAM JOB (Ins-1, HO-1).
7′Move forward with discussing the rules through instruction OUR RULES (Ins-2). Emphasize that it is expected to reach agreement over rules that will be applied during the training session. It is up to us to discuss them and reach the agreement, and we may suggest any rule we find appropriate, but we need to follow the rukes once they are agreed upon. Continue with Ins-2.

90′ – SESSION 2: WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT EMPLOYMENT

30′Lead trainer opens the second session with Tutorial-1 EMPLOYERS VIEW: FROM IDENTIFICATION TO HIRING (ppt-2).
After the first tutorial, the leading trainer states that we have become familiar with the employment process, as this process in large companies is more complex, and includes all the steps listed in the tutorial, while in small firms employment is much simpler. The trainer concludes that it is important that we understand the process and how the employer is thinking about the employment, because we will better understand the job vacancy with this knowledge and we will be able to better prepare ourselves.
25′Now the lead trainer suggests to return to the topic of qualities of a successful candidate, and opens Tutorial-2 MY EXPECTATIONS & MY COMPETENCES (ppt-3).
For the task MY EXPECTATIONS, AMBITION AND MOTIVATION we have to use Ins-3 & HO-2.
30′Tutorial-2 complete with task MY COMPETENCES (Ins-4 HO-3), and statement: “Now that we know what we want from employment, let’s see what we can offer. Here we come to the issue of competences. ”

40′ – SESSION 3: AN OUTSTANDING CV

10′At the beginning of the session, warm up after a pause with an energizer game titled A’s & B’s (Ins-5).
20′Start the session with Tutorial-3 EXTRAORDINARY CV. Open ppt-4. Start the tutorial with the conclusion that CV is one of the ways we can present ourselves to the employer. Than start the introduction discussion DO YOU HAVE YOUR OWN CV? (Ins-6).

160′ – SESSION 4: MY CV

10′At the beginning of the session, warm up after a pause with an energizer game titled BOOM (Ins-10).
110′Start the session with task MY CV (Ins-7, HO-4).
40′After the end of individual work, the participants have to present the products of their work – their CVs (Ins-7).

30′ – SESSION 5: CLOSING

10′Closing session start with WRAPPING UP (Ins-11).
15′End the session with EVALUATION OF THE DAY (Ins-8). Bring a chair and sit in front of the participant, and start the discussion on the evaluation.
5′Point out that in the end it is important that we finish the day in a good mood and that is why the session ends with the game MY GOOD NEIGHBOR (Ins-9)

DAY 2

20′ – SESSION 6: MORNING INTRODUCTION

5′Morning session we start with warming up game THE CATERPILLAR (Ins-13).
10′Start the introduction by recapitulating the last day (Ins-11).
5′Finally, we have 5 more minutes to discuss the way of work today. There is no particular instruction for this segment, use it as you like.

70′ – SESSION 7: OUTSTANDING INTERVIEW

43′Start the session with Tutorial-4 OUTSTANDING INTERVIEW (ppt-5).
17′For ELEVATOR STATEMENT task, use Ins-12.
10′For MY STORY TO TELL task, use Ins-14 & HO-5.

210’ – SESSION 8: INTERVIEW LIVE!

20′Eight session is devoted to roleplay entitled INTERVIEW LIVE! (Ins-15). While the assistant trainer is distributing handouts HO-6A & HO-6B, split the participants in two groups by indicating A and B group members alternately. In first 20 minutes groups have to prepare their roles in accordance with instruction Ins-15.
70′After roles are prepared, the interviews should began in accordance with instruction Ins-15.
10′Upon the completion of interviews, employers have 10 minutes to summarize their notes about candidates and take decision on employment, in accordance with instruction Ins-15.
20′Than the groups switch roles, and take next 20 minutes to prepare their new roles, in acordance wotj instructions Ins-15.
70′After roles are prepared, the interviews should began in accordance with instruction Ins-15.
10′Upon the completion of interviews, employers have 10 minutes to summarize their notes about candidates and take decision on employment, in accordance with instruction Ins-15.
10′At the end of role play session, there additional 10 minutes for employers to present and justify their decisions on employment – who and why have they decided to offer a job.

25’ – SESSION 9: INTROSPECTION

25′Session 9 serves to analyse what we have learned and what attitudes we changed. Discussion INTROSPECTION is facilitated by lead trainer, while the participants are seated in their chairs (Ins-16).

25’ – SESSION 10: CLOSING

5′Closing session start with RETROSPECTIVE OF THE DAY (Ins-11).
10′After retrospective, invite participants to form a circle in order to play the STORY-TELLING game for ending the training in good mood (Ins-17).
10′At the end, the assisatant trainer distributes EVALUATION FORM (HO-7) to participants while lead trainer gives instruction how to fill the questionnaires and where to leave them completed.
